This is such a lovely collection of homes. I always wanted to live in Bilbo's cozy little hobbit hole. A lot of the fictional homes I loved as a child seemed to be makeshift ones: the Borrowers' home beneath the floorboards, the Boxcar Children's boxcar, and the deserted cottage from Julie Andrews' Mandy.
I love being able to look out the window and see so many birds! After living in the city, it’s such a nice change having wildlife visitors 😄 Oh, I like your choices! I’ve been meaning to read The Borrowers since I enjoyed The Secret World of Arrietty so much. As a kid, I liked makeshift spaces too. I used to make tents by draping blankets over chairs and then arrange lots of pillows and quilts inside. Small cozy areas were so much fun!
