The interesting aspect of this chapter was the addition of a boy into a girls group. I wonder if the same unselfishness would occur if a girl would try to join a boys group? The castle aspect of the story took me on a journey to a song by Don McLean..."And if she asks you why, you can tell her that I told you

That I'm tired of castles in the air

I've got a dream I want the world to share

And castle walls just lead me to despair."

Yeah I’m not sure how Teddy’s friends would react if Jo joined them, but somehow I doubt they’d be as welcoming. I love that all the sisters are so comfortable letting him join their games -- it’s a very special dynamic. I wonder if Don McLean was inspired by this chapter when he wrote his song? 🤔
